Jinko Solar N-Type Bifacial 495 W
A dual-glass bifacial module built on N-type TOPCon cells, with HOT 3.0 and SMBB technology for stronger light capture and far slower ageing than a conventional panel. Its clear rear face turns light bouncing off a roof, sand or concrete into extra output, which makes it a natural fit for commercial rooftops, carports and ground-mounted plants. Two sheets of glass, an anodised aluminium frame and an Anti-PID guarantee carry it through thirty years of sun, salt and dust.
Key Features
- Both faces generate — The clear rear face converts reflected light at 80% of the front's efficiency, adding roughly a tenth more power under the datasheet's bifacial test conditions.
- Glass on both sides — Two 2 mm panes, anti-reflective at the front and heat-strengthened at the back, replace the plastic backsheet that normally ages first.
- Anti-PID guarantee — Cell processing and material control suppress potential-induced degradation, and the module is certified to IEC 62804.
- Built for wind and heat — Certified to 5400 Pa of load on the front and 2400 Pa from behind, and rated to run from -40 C to +70 C.

FAQs
How much extra energy does the bifacial rear side really give?
The rear face works at 80% (plus or minus 5%) of the front's efficiency, so under the datasheet's bifacial test conditions, with 135 W/m2 reaching the back, the module delivers about 10% more power. In the field the gain follows what sits under the array: a white roof or light gravel with a good air gap behind the panel gives the most, dark asphalt the least.
What warranty comes with this panel?
Twelve years on the product itself and a 30-year linear performance warranty. At the end of those three decades the module is still guaranteed to produce at least 87.4% of its rated output.
What size and weight should I plan the mounting for?
Each module measures 1961 x 1134 x 30 mm and weighs 27 kg, on an anodised aluminium frame with an IP68 junction box. It is certified to 5400 Pa on the front and 2400 Pa on the rear, so it clears normal wind and snow loading, and it ships 37 to a pallet, 888 in a 40-foot HQ container.
