11.8 kWh home battery, 230 A, for a house that runs through the night
The SE-F12 is Deye's 11.8 kWh home battery, a 48V lithium iron phosphate unit that pairs with any hybrid inverter set up for a 51.2 V bank. It is the middle size in the SE-F family: larger than the 5.12 kWh wall units, smaller than the 16 kWh cabinet, and rated for 230 A continuous in both directions. It can go on a wall, on the floor, or stacked with more of the same.
One SE-F12 covers a normal evening in a family home, and up to 32 of them can run in parallel for 377.6 kWh where a site needs it. Monitoring is over Bluetooth to the phone app, with CAN 2.0 and RS485 to the inverter, and an LED with a buzzer on the unit itself for state of charge and faults. It charges from 0 to 55 °C and discharges down to -20 °C.
