215 kWh micro grid system with a 100 kW converter for a factory
The MS-G215 is a self-contained commercial battery system: 215 kWh of LiFePO4 storage and a 100 kW converter in one floor-mounted cabinet, with the energy management, the power conversion and the battery management already wired together inside it. It is aimed at factories, farms and site compounds that want to shave an expensive peak, store cheap night power, or keep working when the grid is not.
One cabinet holds the batteries, the converter and the controls, so the site sees a single 3L/PE connection carrying up to 167 A. Deye quotes 98.5% peak conversion efficiency and 88.5% round trip across the whole system, with the battery working between 660 and 876 V DC in modules of 14.3 kWh. Twelve cabinets can run in parallel. This is the China-market build, with a C4-rated shell and Class 1 protection.
