Deye 3 kW Single-Phase Low-Voltage Hybrid Solar Inverter

The SG04LP1 is Deye's single-phase hybrid solar inverter, the box that ties panels, battery and grid together in one wall-mounted unit. Four models are sold here off one datasheet: a 3 kW built for a 24 V battery bank, then 3 kW, 5 kW and 6 kW for the usual 48 V one. What separates them is how fast each moves power into a battery and what battery it expects. All four share the same 97.6% conversion, the same colour touch screen and the same IP65 case.

3 kW single-phase hybrid solar inverter for a 24V battery bank home

One model, one battery voltage: 3,000 W of continuous output, 3,300 VA at peak and 70 A of charge or discharge into a 24V bank. Panels can reach 4,800 W, tracked over a 150 to 425 V window. Off grid it will hold double its rating for 10 seconds to get a motor spinning. At 17.6 kg and sealed to IP65 it mounts inside or out, and the battery side is isolated from the solar side.

3 kW single-phase hybrid inverter for a 48 V bank and 4.8 kW of panels

The smallest of the four 48 V models: a 40 V to 60 V battery window, 3,000 W of rated AC output and 3,300 VA apparent. Charge and discharge are limited to 70 A, which is the real difference from the 5 kW and 6 kW units, and up to 4,800 W of panels can feed it across two trackers. Rated output current is 13.6 A in and 13 A out, with 35 A of grid passthrough.

5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter, 48 V battery and 120 A charging

The middle rating and the usual pick for a home on a 48 V lithium bank, since it works across a 40 V to 60 V battery window. It charges or discharges at up to 120 A, so a typical 5 kWh to 10 kWh bank fills inside a couple of hours of good sun, and it accepts 8,000 W of panels against 5,000 W of output. Normal output current is 22.7 A. There is no fan in this one.

6 kW single-phase hybrid inverter with 135 A charging for a 48 V bank

The largest of the four, and the only one with intelligent air cooling, a fan that comes on under load instead of relying on the case alone. Battery current rises to 135 A on the same 40 V to 60 V window, panel input to 9,600 W, and apparent power to 6,600 VA. Normal output is 27.3 A with 30 A at the ceiling, which is the figure your main breaker has to clear.
