Deye 3–15 kW Three-Phase Solar Inverter (SUN-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1)
The SUN-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1 is Deye's three-phase solar inverter for homes and small businesses that already sit on a 380 V or 400 V supply. It is sold in ten ratings, 3 kW through 15 kW, and every one of them uses the same 11 kg wall box with two MPPT trackers and a 1,100 V panel input. Pick the rating that matches the array going on the roof; the rest of the machine does not change.
True of every rating
- Two MPPT trackers with a 120 V to 1,000 V tracking window, and panel strings allowed up to 1,100 V
- Sealed for an outside wall (IP65) and rated from -25 C to 60 C, up to 4,000 m altitude
- Under 45 dB of running noise and 11 kg on the bracket, so one person can hang it
- Feeds a 220/380 V or 230/400 V three-phase supply at 50 or 60 Hz, with grid, earth-fault and anti-islanding monitoring on board

3 kW three-phase solar inverter for a small rooftop of about 4.5 kW
The smallest of the ten, sized for a house or a shop with roughly 4.5 kW of panels, which is the most DC power it will take. It puts out 3,000 W of real power, 3.3 kVA at the ceiling, and 4.6 A per phase in normal running. Peak conversion is 98.1%, or 97.5% on the European weighting. There is no fan in this one, so nothing on it needs cleaning or replacing.
Max PV input: 4.5 kW · Max apparent power: 3.3 kVA · Rated output current: 4.6 A per phase · Max efficiency: 98.1%
Model code: SUN-3K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
4 kW three-phase solar inverter that takes up to 6 kW of solar panels
One step up from the 3 kW and physically the same box. It accepts 6 kW of panels, half again more DC than its AC rating, which is what you want when the roof faces east and west rather than south. Normal running current is 6.1 A per phase with 6.7 A available, and apparent power tops out at 4.4 kVA. Efficiency is unchanged at 98.1% peak, 97.5% European.
Max PV input: 6 kW · Max apparent power: 4.4 kVA · Rated output current: 6.1 A per phase · Max AC output current: 6.7 A

5 kW three-phase solar inverter, 7.5 kW of panels for a family home
The usual choice for a family house on a three-phase meter. It takes 7.5 kW of panels against a 5,000 W output, so the array can be oversized without losing much at midday, and it holds 7.6 A per phase in normal running with 8.4 A in reserve. Efficiency moves up a notch here, to 98.2% at peak and 97.6% European. Cooling is still passive, with no fan to service.
Max PV input: 7.5 kW · Max apparent power: 5.5 kVA · Rated output current: 7.6 A per phase · Max efficiency: 98.2%
Model code: SUN-5K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
6 kW three-phase solar inverter for a 9 kW roof, 10 A per phase
Same case and the same 98.2% peak efficiency as the 5 kW, with more headroom on both sides: 9 kW of panels on the DC side and 6.6 kVA on the AC side. Normal running current is 9.1 A per phase and the ceiling is 10 A, which is the figure that decides your cable and breaker. European efficiency is 97.6%. It is still cooled by air alone.
Max PV input: 9 kW · Max apparent power: 6.6 kVA · Rated output current: 9.1 A per phase · Max AC output current: 10 A

7 kW three-phase solar inverter, 10.5 kW of panels for a small shop
It is rated at 7,000 W with 7.7 kVA of apparent power and room for 10.5 kW of panels, which suits a shop or a workshop that runs through the day. Two numbers are missing here on purpose. The datasheet prints output current for this model in a cell shared with its neighbours, and our records disagree on whether peak efficiency is 98.2% or 98.3%. We would rather quote neither than quote the wrong one.
Rated AC power: 7,000 W · Max PV input: 10.5 kW · Max apparent power: 7.7 kVA
Model code: SUN-7K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
8 kW three-phase solar inverter, 12 kW of panels at 98.3% efficiency
Efficiency is 98.3% at peak and 97.8% on the European weighting, matching the 7 kW and topping the smaller ratings. It swallows 12 kW of panels, a full half again over its 8,000 W output, and delivers 8.8 kVA. The case, the weight and the two trackers match the 3 kW exactly, so wall space and mounting do not change if you upsize during design.
Max PV input: 12 kW · Max apparent power: 8.8 kVA · Max efficiency: 98.3% · European efficiency: 97.8%
Model code: SUN-8K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
9 kW three-phase solar inverter for 13.5 kW of panels, 15 A ceiling
Nine thousand watts out, 13.5 kW of panels in, 9.9 kVA of apparent power and a 15 A ceiling per phase. It sits between the 8 kW and the 10 kW on the same 98.3% peak and 97.8% European efficiency, and it is the largest rating in this range that still runs without a fan. Choose it when the array lands slightly over what the 8 kW will accept.
Max PV input: 13.5 kW · Max apparent power: 9.9 kVA · Max AC output current: 15 A · Cooling: Passive, no fan
Model code: SUN-9K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
10 kW three-phase solar inverter for a 15 kW commercial rooftop
Ten kilowatts is the common size for a villa with heavy air conditioning or a small commercial roof. It accepts 15 kW of panels, gives 11 kVA of apparent power and 16.7 A per phase, and it holds full output across a 350 V to 650 V string window, so string design matters more here than on the smaller units. Peak efficiency stays at 98.3%.
Max PV input: 15 kW · Max apparent power: 11 kVA · Max AC output current: 16.7 A · Full-load MPPT window: 350-650 V
Model code: SUN-10K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
12 kW three-phase solar inverter, 18 kW of panels for a workshop
Twelve thousand watts of output, 13.2 kVA apparent and 20 A per phase, fed by as much as 18 kW of panels. Like the 10 kW it holds full output across a 350 V to 650 V string window, and it carries the same 98.3% peak and 97.8% European efficiency. This is usually the point where an installer splits the array into two separate string groups, one per tracker.
Rated AC power: 12,000 W · Max PV input: 18 kW · Max apparent power: 13.2 kVA · Max AC output current: 20 A
Model code: SUN-12K-G06P3-EU-AM2-P1
15 kW three-phase solar inverter, 22.5 kW of panels at 98.5% peak
The top of the range, and one of three ratings here with intelligent air cooling rather than passive cooling, which is how it holds 15,000 W in Gulf heat. It also carries the best conversion figures in the family, 98.5% at peak and 98% European, and it takes 22.5 kW of panels against 16.5 kVA on the AC side. The 25 A per phase ceiling decides your cable size.
Max PV input: 22.5 kW · Max apparent power: 16.5 kVA · Max AC output current: 25 A · Max efficiency: 98.5%
