Deye 5–10 kWh High-Voltage All-in-One Home Energy Storage System

The SS-F is Deye's high-voltage home battery, sold in two sizes off one datasheet: 5 kWh and 10 kWh. Both work on the high-voltage DC side of a hybrid inverter rather than the 48 V side, which keeps the current low and the cabling thin for the same stored energy. The cells, the IP65 case and the 6,000-cycle rating are the same in each; what you are choosing is how much energy sits behind them, and how much wall the box takes up.

5 kWh high-voltage home battery for a compact solar storage system

This is the entry point into Deye's high-voltage storage: 5 kWh, 20 Ah, and an operating window of 224 to 292 V DC. At 45 kg it is roughly half the mass of a 10 kWh low-voltage wall battery, so one installer can handle it and a normal masonry wall will carry it. It reports over CAN or RS485 and is rated for 3,000 m of altitude, higher than most residential packs.

10 kWh high-voltage battery at 512 V for a European hybrid system

A 20 Ah pack at 512 V, sold as one sealed unit with the management electronics already inside, so the installer wires it and sets the inverter's battery type. Deye puts the recommended charge and discharge current at 10 A, with 20 A as the maximum. It is the wide sibling of the SS-F5: 850 x 650 x 170 mm and 85 kg against the SS-F5's 470 mm width and 45 kg, and it works across a 448 to 584 V window instead of the SS-F5's 224 to 292 V.
